Anushay Hossain Speaks on “The Pain Gap: How Sexism and Racism in Healthcare Kill Women”

We’re excited to welcome Anushay Hossain, author of “The Pain Gap: How Sexism and Racism in Healthcare Kill Women.” This new, highly acclaimed book is described as “a meticulously researched exploration of the women’s health crisis through real tales of healthcare trauma and medical misogyny.” Our online Illinois NOW presentation will be hosted by the N/NW Suburban Chicago Chapter.

Anushay Hossain is a writer and a feminist policy analyst focusing on women’s health legislation. She is a regular on-air guest at CNN, MSNBC, and PBS, and her writing on politics, gender, and race has been published in Forbes, CNN, USA TODAY, The Daily Beast, and Medium.
