DESCRIPTION:Illinois NOW Conference: NOW More Than Ever…Seriously! \nSaturday\, September 27\, 2025 \n10:30 AM \nNorth Central College\, Naperville \nHosted by Illinois NOW and the North Central College NOW Campus Action Network. \nThis is a free event – lunch provided with advance registration. \nJoin Illinois NOW and the North Central College NOW Campus Action Network for a unique event combining our annual conference\, direct campus action and our 2026 Midterms election kickoff. Our keynote speaker will be Tracy Baim\, activist\, author and the founder and publisher of Windy City Times. We will host a workshop on the crucial 2026 Midterm elections\, featuring multi-generational political activists at the state and local level. We are partnering with the Dyson Wellness Center to build kits for NCC students to protect their mental and reproductive health. We are collecting food for our students and local food bank. Kim Villanueva\, our newly elected president of NOW\, will stop by. We will present our annual awards. We are also throwing in a bit of business with officer elections and action plan resolutions. This is a free event and lunch is provided. We only ask that you register in advance to give us an accurate attendance count. \nEnjoy a beautiful fall day of solidarity\, positive action\, and a break from the current relentless political and mental grind.
