Each year Chicago NOW (CNOW) holds its annual Women Who Dared awards ceremony and reception in honor of two sheroes, one public figure and one community organizer, who have had a positive impact on the lives of women and girls throughout our city. This year, in recognition of their longstanding leadership and commitment to supporting women, our recipients will be State Representative Kelly Cassidy and Executive Director of the Chicago Abortion Fund, Gaylon Alcaraz.
